Ph.D., CPA (Director of the University Center for Ethics & Association Professor of Accounting, University of Tampa) and Dr. Deanna House (Associate Director, University of Tampa). Robert Marley, PhD, CPA, is the Director of the University of Tampa’s Center for Ethics and an associate professor of accounting in the Sykes College of Business. Before joining academia 10 years ago, Robert spent 15 years in a variety of financial management roles in public accounting, consulting, and corporate strategy, specializing in pharmaceuticals and technology. His academic research focuses on configuring accounting information systems to improve business decisions and his work has been profiled by Yale University’s Center for International Finance, Investor Relations magazine, and the Institute of Management Accountants. Robert was named Researcher of the Year by the Sykes College of Business in 2017, received the Dean’s Teaching Excellent Award in 2016, and has been recognized as an Outstanding Student Advisor by the University of Tampa’s Academic Advising Office. Deanna House, PhD, is the Associate Director of the University of Tampa’s Center for Ethics and an Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity in the Sykes College of Business. Deanna worked in Human Resources as a Business Systems Analyst prior to her time in academia. Her research interests are related to the behavioral aspects of cybersecurity and the protective and preventative measures performed by users and organizations.
