Amanda Puccinelli and Sarah Costello are this month's featured speakers. Amanda Puccinelli, Senior Coordinator for the Lightning Foundation, graduated from the University of South Florida in 2011 with a B.S. degree in Marketing and Management. She then went on to receive her MBA at University of South Florida in Sport Business. Amanda has worked with the Lightning Foundation since August of 2013. She oversees a major in-game fundraising initiative, the 50/50 Raffle, and the Lightning’s fundraising 5K race, the Bolt Run. Amanda plays a crucial role in the execution of the Lightning Community Hero program, assists with Lightning Foundation financials and budgeting, and assists with several community partnership programs involving STEM education and health & wellness. Sarah Costello, current Lightning Foundation Coordinator, graduated from Syracuse University in 2013 with a B.S. in Sport Management and Psychology. Sarah has worked in the Sports and Non-Profit industries for four years through her work with the Syracuse Crunch as the Community Relations & Charitable Foundation Manager, Events Coordinator for the Tiger Woods Foundation, and now with the Tampa Bay Lightning. In her role with the Lightning Foundation, she manages the Foundation’s signature fundraiser, the Bolts Family Carnival, and executes several in-game fundraising initiatives, the silent auction and Mystery Puck program. She also assists with the Lightning Community Hero program and is playing a pivotal role in the launch of the Heroes of Tomorrow program. Sarah also manages the in-game fundraising efforts for the Tampa Bay Storm.
