Our AFP Chapter
The Florida Nature Coast Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) was officially chartered on March 28, 2009.
Our service area of Pasco, Hernando and Citrus Counties was previously served by the Suncoast AFP Chapter in Tampa. Under the leadership of our Founding President, Craig McCart, our chapter formed an initial Board of Directors and successfully applied for recognition as the 201st AFP Chapter from the AFP international board.
The Chapter participates in monthly professional development opportunities offered through a variety of speakers and community professionals that relate to the non-profit sector. These educational sessions help further develop our skill set to be the most effective fundraising professionals possible and to serve our organizations with the best practices for our field.

Mission Statement
AFP, an association of professionals throughout the world, advances philanthropy by enabling people and organizations to practice ethical and effective fundraising. The core activities through which AFP fulfills this mission includes education, training, mentoring, credentialing and advocacy.
